Behavioral Health Program

Supporting Mental Wellness in Our Community

Why We Started

The need for culturally diverse programs that provide social, emotional, and behavioral health support has dramatically increased in the communities we serve.

In response, REAP launched a Behavioral Health (BH) program in the fall of 2022 to address the social and emotional needs that have emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We provide quality, trauma-informed, and strength-based care to students and families in need of general outpatient mental and behavioral health services.

About Our Behavioral Health Program

The REAP Behavioral Health Program is dedicated to supporting the mental and behavioral health of our youth. Our intake process is trauma-informed and strength-based, ensuring a relational approach that supports individuals and their families. Our diverse and passionate BH team is committed to reflecting and serving our community effectively.

Our Impact

Since launching the Behavioral Health Program, we have provided essential support to students facing a range of challenges. Our services include counseling for depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. By addressing these needs, we help our youth build resilience and improve their overall well-being.

Benefits of Counseling

Counseling can be a difficult decision for some, especially for those who may have never been to counseling before, but there are many benefits to working with a counseling professional:
Counseling can lead to significant improvement in your mental health and/or substance use symptoms, including reduced feelings of distress, depression, and anxiety.
Over time, you may gain or improve lifelong skills for expressing and managing emotions, coping with life challenges, problem-solving, and improving your relationships.
Counseling provides a safe, judgment-free space for us to work on our goals, learn more about ourselves, develop our confidence, and build self-esteem.
Our team works with youth experiencing a variety of challenges, including:

Depression

Anxiety

Trauma

Suicide Ideation

Family Counseling

Grief/Loss

Attention Deficit Hyper-Activity Disorder (ADHD)
