While many program models focus on intervention to address problems that already exist, REAP offeres a different approach.  We work with school districts and communities to develop and infrastructure of support for students before a problem occurs!

CHALLENGE

Challenge is a leadership conference designed to build from the success of the past, responds to the challenges of the present and embraces the possibilities of the future.

SOLUTIONS

Solutions is a student leadership program that facilitates personal, institutional, and social change through the lives of students. The program’s goal is to “empower students to take on the identity of ‘leader’ – in education, business, civic and health – and to see their FUTURE NOW.

REFLECTIONS

Reflections is a dropout prevention program targeting students who are suspended from school. The program offers behavior coaching, credit recovery and individual success planning.

BLACK
STUDIES

Black Studies is a college prep leadership course taught in partnership with Portland State University Black Studies Department. The course illuminates the contribution of blacks to world culture and their leadership in history.

CHALLENGE CAMP

The camp offers students 5 days of leadership development in effort to prepare students for the upcoming school year. Through various camp work sessions, students interface with elected officials, community leaders, educators, health practitioners and parents in effort to develop leadership skills that will empower them to become leaders in education, business, civic and health.
